Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia 1 II, getting a global score of 94.6 against 91. Even though the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Sony Xperia 1 II were released with only a few months difference, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 design is way heavier but thinner. These phones work with the same Android 11 OS, so both of them should provide you all the same operating system features.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a little better performance than Sony Xperia 1 II, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has more RAM memory. The Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1644 x 3840 resolution and a much higher count of pixels per inch in the screen.
Xperia 1 II features a much bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Z Fold 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Xperia 1 II also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2's camera is very similar to the Xperia 1 II one, and although the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light captures and a tinier back-facing camera sensor, they both have a camera in the back with a 12 mega pixels, the same 60 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with just a little bit longer battery duration than Xperia 1 II, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
