The Xperia 1 II has a score of 91, which is much better than the Sony Xperia Z5's general score of 77.6. Even though Xperia 1 II is much newer than Sony Xperia Z5, it is just a bit thicker and heavier. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Xperia 1 II has newer 11 version while Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version, so it provides a lot of extra features.

Xperia 1 II counts with a bit better CPU than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 1 II also counts with more RAM. The Sony Xperia 1 II has a little more vivid display than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a way greater screen pixels density, a larger screen and a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840.

The Sony Xperia 1 II features a very superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a SD card slot that allows up to 1000 GB and more internal memory. Sony Xperia Z5 features a bit better camera than Xperia 1 II, because although it has a much smaller back-facing camera sensor which gives a much worse photo and video quality, a tinier aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and videos and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same video resolution, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a much more MP back-facing camera.
