Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 II is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, having a global score of 91 against 75.8. The Sony Xperia 1 II construction weights the same than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, but it is just a bit thinner. Both phones in our current comparison include Android operating system, but Sony Xperia 1 II has older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
Xperia 1 II has a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a quite bigger screen, a lot more pixels per inch of screen and a lot higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution. Xperia 1 II has a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal storage.
The Sony Xperia 1 II features a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have 8 cores, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has a larger amount of RAM. Xperia 1 II counts with a better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a 12 mega pixels resolution camera in the back, the Xperia 1 II also has a way bigger aperture to take better low light captures and video and a much better video quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a battery performance that is just as good as the Xperia 1 II one.
