Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 II has a global score of 91, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T's 83 overall score. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia 1 II has a more recent 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has Android 10 version, so it provides you some nice extra features. Sony Xperia 1 II's construction is somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, even when they were released only a few months apart.
Xperia 1 II has just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 1 II also has a higher amount of RAM. The Xperia 1 II features a better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xperia 1 II also has a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a way better number of pixels per inch of display.
Sony Xperia 1 II features a much better storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T, because it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 1000 GB and more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T features greater battery lifetime than Xperia 1 II, because it has a 25% more battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T captures much better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 1 II, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low light photography and videos, a smaller back camera sensor shooting worse quality photographs and videos and slower video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T also counts with a lot more MP camera.
