Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 III has a global score of 93.3, which is much better than Asus ROG Phone 8's global score of 79.5. Sony Xperia 1 III's construction is a bit thinner and lighter than the Asus ROG Phone 8, despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Sony Xperia 1 III has 11 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14 version.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a little more vivid screen than Xperia 1 III, because although it has much less pixels per inch of screen and a way lower resolution of 1080 x 2400, it also counts with a bit larger screen. Xperia 1 III counts with a way bigger memory for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 8, and although they both have the same 256 GB internal memory, the Xperia 1 III also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
Xperia 1 III features a really superior performance than Asus ROG Phone 8. Both have 8 processing cores and the same RAM amount. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features superior battery life than Sony Xperia 1 III, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a much better camera than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a lot more megapixels camera in the back, a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a lot better video definition.
