Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 III is better than Asus ZenFone 8, getting a global score of 93.3 against 83. Although Sony Xperia 1 III and Asus ZenFone 8 were only released 2 months apart, the Sony Xperia 1 III design is a little heavier but also a little thinner. Both phones in this comparison come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any differences regarding operating system features.
The Asus ZenFone 8 and Xperia 1 III count with incredibly similar screens, although the Asus ZenFone 8 has a little smaller display, a lot lower 1080 x 2400 resolution and a way lower pixel density. The Sony Xperia 1 III features a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 128 GB more internal storage and an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
Xperia 1 III features a little bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xperia 1 III also has 6 GB more RAM memory.
