Comparison review

The Sony Xperia 1 III has a global score of 93.3, which is a lot better than HTC One M9's score of 77.7. Even though the Sony Xperia 1 III is somewhat heavier than the HTC One M9, it's thinner and also incredibly newer. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia 1 III has newer 11 version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0, so it provides the user a lot of extra features and improved performance.

The HTC One M9 features a little bit better looking display than Xperia 1 III, although it has a way smaller screen, a way worse screen pixels density and a way worse 1920 x 1080px resolution. Sony Xperia 1 III has a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One M9, because it has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 224 GB more internal memory capacity.

The HTC One M9 has just a little better hardware performance than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the HTC One M9 also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a 64-bit CPU. The Xperia 1 III shoots just a bit better photos and videos than HTC One M9, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a way less mega pixels back camera, it also counts with a much larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a much bigger aperture.

The Xperia 1 III features a really longer battery life than HTC One M9, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2840mAh.

Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is way more expensive than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC One M9. If you are trying to save some money, you can get HTC One M9, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
