Comparison review
Xperia 1 III has a general score of 93.3, which is better than the Huawei Mate 10's global score of 78.9. Xperia 1 III's body has the same thickness than the Huawei Mate 10, but it's just a little heavier. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Xperia 1 III has newer 11 version while Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10 version.
Sony Xperia 1 III and Huawei Mate 10 have extremely similar screens, although the Huawei Mate 10 has a little smaller display, a just a bit lower pixels density and a much lower resolution of 1440 x 2560. Xperia 1 III features a bit superior processor than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has more RAM.
Xperia 1 III features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 10, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The Xperia 1 III shoots much clearer photos and videos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have a back facing camera with a 12 MP and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia 1 III also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor shooting way better quality videos and pictures and higher video frame rates.
The Sony Xperia 1 III features a bit longer battery duration than Huawei Mate 10, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei Mate 10. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Xperia 1 III, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei Mate 10, giving up some features and specifications.
