Xperia 1 III is better than Huawei nova 5T, having a overall score of 93.3 against 80.8. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 1 III has newer 11 version while Huawei nova 5T has Android 10, so it provides the user some extra features. The Xperia 1 III is a newer cellphone than Huawei nova 5T, but it's a bit thicker and a little bit heavier.
The Sony Xperia 1 III has a sharper screen than Huawei nova 5T, because it has a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840, a quite bigger screen and a lot higher count of pixels per inch in the screen. The Xperia 1 III has a lot bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei nova 5T, because it has 128 GB more internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that holds up to 1 TB.
Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a little faster CPU than Huawei nova 5T, and although they both have 8 cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a larger amount of RAM. Xperia 1 III has superior battery lifetime than Huawei nova 5T, because it has a 20 percent larger battery capacity. If you want to save some money, you can buy Huawei nova 5T, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
