Comparison review
Xperia 1 III is much better than Huawei P30, getting a score of 93.3 against 81.7. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia 1 III has 11 version and Huawei P30 has Android 10, counting with lots of additional features and improved performance. Even though Xperia 1 III is noticeably newer than the Huawei P30, it is a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier.
Xperia 1 III features just a little better processing power than Huawei P30, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has 6 GB more RAM. The Xperia 1 III counts with a sharper screen than Huawei P30, because it has a lot better 1644 x 3840px resolution, a lot higher display density and a bit larger screen.
Xperia 1 III has a much bigger memory for applications and games than Huawei P30, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 128 GB more internal memory capacity. The Xperia 1 III features improved battery performance than Huawei P30, because it has a 23% larger battery size.
The Huawei P30 features a bit better camera than Xperia 1 III, because although it has lower video frame rate and a smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have a same size sensor and the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei P30 also counts with a back facing camera with a much higher resolution.
Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei P30, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P30. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia 1 III, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P30, giving up some features and specs.
