Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III is much better than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, with a overall score of 93.3 against 81.9. Both devices in our current comparison have Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia 1 III has the older 11 version while Motorola Edge 50 Neo has Android 14 version. The Xperia 1 III body has the same thickness than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, but it's just a bit heavier.
The Xperia 1 III counts with a really superior performance than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 1 III also has a higher amount of RAM. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo counts with a much better looking screen than Xperia 1 III, although it has a way worse pixel number per inch of display, a quite smaller screen and a way worse 1256 x 2760 resolution.
Xperia 1 III has a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, and although they both have equal 256 GB internal storage, the Xperia 1 III also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1 TB. Motorola Edge 50 Neo has a little bit better camera than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and videos and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same video definition, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo also counts with a way higher 50 MP resolution back camera and a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 4310mAh.
