The Xperia 1 III is much better than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, with a overall score of 93.3 against 81.9. The Xperia 1 III body has the same thickness than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, but it's just a bit heavier.

The Xperia 1 III counts with a really superior performance than Motorola Edge 50 Neo, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 1 III also has a higher amount of RAM. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo counts with a much better looking screen than Xperia 1 III, although it has a way worse pixel number per inch of display, a quite smaller screen and a way worse 1256 x 2760 resolution.
