Comparison review

Xperia 1 III is better than the Motorola One Zoom, having a score of 93.3 against 80. The Xperia 1 III design is newer, just a little bit lighter and a little bit thinner than the Motorola One Zoom. The Xperia 1 III features a bit faster CPU than Motorola One Zoom, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia 1 III also has a higher amount of RAM.

The Xperia 1 III features a more vivid display than Motorola One Zoom, because it has a way better pixel number per inch in the display, a bit bigger screen and a much better 1644 x 3840px resolution. Sony Xperia 1 III has a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola One Zoom, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and 128 GB more internal storage.

The Xperia 1 III features a bit superior battery performance than Motorola One Zoom, because it has a 13% bigger battery size. Motorola One Zoom takes just a bit better videos and photos than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a tinier back-facing camera sensor which gives a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same aperture, the Motorola One Zoom also counts with a back facing camera with a lot better resolution.

Although Sony Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola One Zoom, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola One Zoom. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia 1 III, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Motorola One Zoom, resigning a couple specifications.
