The Sony Xperia 1 III is much better than the Nokia XR20, getting a 93.3 score against 80.8. Both devices in this review have the same Android 11 OS (Operating System). Sony Xperia 1 III's body is noticeably thinner and extremely lighter than Nokia XR20, although both were released only a couple months apart.

Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a bit superior processor than Nokia XR20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a little sharper display than Nokia XR20, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a lot more pixels per display inch.

The Xperia 1 III and the Nokia XR20 both count with quite similar cameras, because although the Nokia XR20 has slower 60 frames per second video frame rates, a tinier camera aperture which is worse for capturing photographs and/or video in low light environments and a lot tinier sensor giving a way worse image quality, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, it also counts with a lot more mega pixels camera in the back.

Sony Xperia 1 III has a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Nokia XR20, because it has 128 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The Nokia XR20 has a little longer battery life than Xperia 1 III, because it has a 3 percent larger battery size.

Sony Xperia 1 III is a lot more expensive than the Nokia XR20, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
