Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III has an overall score of 93.3, which is much better than OnePlus 9's general score of 76. Both of these phones come with the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding that. The Xperia 1 III is a just a bit thinner and just a bit lighter phone than the OnePlus 9, even though both were released with only 3 months difference.
The Sony Xperia 1 III features a brighter screen than OnePlus 9, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a lot better pixel quantity per screen inch and a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels. Sony Xperia 1 III features just a bit better processing power than OnePlus 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has 4 GB more RAM.
Xperia 1 III counts with much more storage capacity for applications and games than OnePlus 9, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1 TB and more internal memory. The OnePlus 9 features a superior camera than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, it also counts with a bigger sensor taking higher quality videos and pictures, a camera in the back with a lot better 48 megapixels resolution and a way better video resolution.
