Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 III is much better than the Samsung Galaxy M21, getting a general score of 93.3 against 84.1. Both of these phones have the same Android 11 operating system, so they should give you all the same OS features. Sony Xperia 1 III's design is newer, a bit lighter and a little bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy M21.
