Comparison review

The Xperia 1 III has a score of 93.3, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3's general score of 81.2. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 1 III has the newer 11 version and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has Android 5.0 version, providing the user some extra features and some performance improvements. Even though the Xperia 1 III is somewhat heavier than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, it's a little thinner and also incredibly newer.

Xperia 1 III has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a higher number of cores and 9 GB more RAM. Sony Xperia 1 III has a bit better display than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a way higher 1644 x 3840 resolution, a much higher screen density and a little bigger screen.

Xperia 1 III has a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB and more internal storage capacity. The Xperia 1 III takes much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a lower 12 mega pixels resolution back camera and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a lot bigger camera aperture to take better captures in low light situations and a lot larger back camera sensor taking much higher quality videos and pictures.

Xperia 1 III counts with a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.

Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Note 3. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia 1 III, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Note 3, letting go some features and specs.
