Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III has a global score of 93.3, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4's 81.6 score. The Xperia 1 III construction is way newer and just a little thinner than Samsung Galaxy Note 4's, although it is also a bit heavier. These devices come with Android operating system, but the Xperia 1 III has a newer 11 version and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has Android 5.0 version.
The Galaxy Note 4 counts with a bit sharper screen than Sony Xperia 1 III, although it has a bit smaller display, a quite lower pixels quantity per inch in the screen and a lot lower resolution of 2560 x 1440px. Xperia 1 III features a much bigger storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has 256 GB internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1 TB.
The Xperia 1 III counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 4, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a greater amount of RAM. The Sony Xperia 1 III captures a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Note 4, because although it has a much less mega pixels camera in the back and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a way bigger camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a lot bigger aperture.
Xperia 1 III has a much longer battery life than Galaxy Note 4, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Note 4. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia 1 III, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, giving up some specifications.
