Xperia 1 III is better than the Galaxy Note5, getting a 93.3 score against 80.2. Xperia 1 III's design is notably newer than Galaxy Note5's, but it is just a little bit heavier and a little thicker. The Xperia 1 III features a bit better CPU than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 1 III also has a larger amount of RAM.
Xperia 1 III counts with just a bit better screen than Galaxy Note5, because it has a better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution, a just a bit better quantity of pixels in each inch of display and a little bit larger display. The Xperia 1 III features a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note5, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1 TB.
Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a really longer battery performance than Galaxy Note5, because it has a 50% more battery size. Xperia 1 III shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because although it has a back camera with a much lower resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a lot bigger sensor which offers a lot higher image and video quality and a bigger diafragm aperture for better images and videos in low-light situations.
