Sony Xperia 1 III is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Note8, getting a general score of 93.3 against 83. Sony Xperia 1 III is a newer phone, and it's also just a bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Note8. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia 1 III has the previous 11 version while Samsung Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie.
