Comparison review
Xperia 1 III is a bit better than Galaxy S21, having a 93.3 score against 91.8. Even being the best we are comparing here, we must tell that it is also a bit thicker and just a bit heavier. These phones use the same Android 11 OS (Operating System). Samsung Galaxy S21 features a display that's just as good as the Xperia 1 III one, although the Samsung Galaxy S21 has a lot worse pixel quantity per inch in the screen, a much lower 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit smaller screen.
The Xperia 1 III counts with a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Galaxy S21, because it has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and more internal storage. Sony Xperia 1 III features a little bit better performance than Galaxy S21, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia 1 III shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S21, and although they both have a same resolution camera in the back and the same video resolution, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a bigger back camera sensor providing a better image quality, a bigger aperture to capture better photos and video in low-light situations and higher video frame rate.
The Sony Xperia 1 III has a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S21, because it has a 13% greater battery size.
Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S21, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S21. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S21, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
