Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 III is a bit better than Galaxy S6, having a 93.3 score against 87.4. Both devices we are comparing here have Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia 1 III has the newer 11 version while Galaxy S6 has Android 5.0 version, so it provides the user some additional features and increased performance. The Sony Xperia 1 III is a newer cellphone than Galaxy S6, but it is thicker and heavier.
Galaxy S6 has a little faster CPU than Xperia 1 III, because although it has 9 GB lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a GPU and a 64-bits processor. Galaxy S6 has a little sharper screen than Sony Xperia 1 III, although it has a lot lower resolution of 2560 x 1440, a way smaller screen and a little bit less pixels per display inch.
The Sony Xperia 1 III shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video definition and a camera in the back with lot less MP, it also counts with a lot larger sensor and a bigger camera aperture for better low light photography and video.

Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy S6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S6. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy S6, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
