Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III is just a bit better than Xperia 5 III, with a 93.3 score against 90.5. The Xperia 1 III is a just a little heavier cellphone than the Xperia 5 III, but both have the same thickness. Both of these phones include the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any difference in that aspect.
Sony Xperia 1 III has a bit more vivid display than Xperia 5 III, because it has more pixels per display inch, a much higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a bit larger display.
