Sony Xperia 1 III is much better than Sony Xperia Z3, with a score of 93.3 against 77.3. Sony Xperia 1 III is a incredibly newer and a bit thinner cellphone than the Sony Xperia Z3, but it's also a little bit heavier. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia 1 III has 11 version and Sony Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4 version.
Xperia 1 III features a bit superior CPU than Sony Xperia Z3, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with 9 GB more RAM memory and more cores. The Xperia Z3 features a little bit better display than Sony Xperia 1 III, although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a much smaller display and a way worse pixel density.
The Sony Xperia 1 III shoots slightly better photos and videos than Xperia Z3, because although it has a lower video resolution and a much less megapixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photos and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor taking way better quality videos and pictures.
The Xperia 1 III has a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia Z3, because it has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory. Sony Xperia 1 III features a really longer battery performance than Xperia Z3, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xperia Z3. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia 1 III, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xperia Z3, giving up a couple features and specs.
