Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 III is a lot better than TCL 20 Pro 5G, getting a overall score of 93.3 against 76.1. These phones include the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so both should count with very similar OS features. Even though Sony Xperia 1 III and TCL 20 Pro 5G were released with only a couple of months difference, Sony Xperia 1 III is thinner and just a little bit lighter.
The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a sharper display than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way better 1644 x 3840 resolution and a way greater display density. Xperia 1 III and TCL 20 Pro 5G feature incredibly similar memory to store more games and applications, both have a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB and equal 256 GB internal memory.
Xperia 1 III features a bit better CPU than TCL 20 Pro 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has 6 GB more RAM memory. Sony Xperia 1 III and TCL 20 Pro 5G have incredibly similar batteries duration. TCL 20 Pro 5G features just a bit better camera than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and pictures, a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos in poorly lited situations and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also counts with a much better 48 MP resolution back facing camera.
