Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III has an overall score of 93.3, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Black Shark 4's 88.3 global score. These devices include the same Android 11 operating system. Even when the Xperia 1 III and Xiaomi Black Shark 4 were only released with a few months difference, the Xperia 1 III is much thinner and somewhat lighter.
The Xperia 1 III features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1644 x 3840px resolution and much more pixels per inch in the display. Xperia 1 III counts with a much greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a little faster processor than Sony Xperia 1 III, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xiaomi Black Shark 4 takes better videos and photos than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has lower 60 fps video frame rate, a smaller back camera sensor taking lower quality videos and photos and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also counts with a much higher 48 megapixels resolution back camera.
The Xperia 1 III and the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 count with quite similar battery durations.
Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Black Shark 4. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia 1 III, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Black Shark 4, giving up some features and specifications.
