Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III has a global score of 93.3, which is better than Xiaomi Mi A2's global score of 78. Xperia 1 III's body is much newer than the Xiaomi Mi A2's, but it is just a little thicker and heavier. The Xperia 1 III has a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi A2, because it has a lot higher 1644 x 3840px resolution, a much greater screen density and a little bigger display.
Xperia 1 III counts with a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi A2, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 1 III also has more RAM memory. The Sony Xperia 1 III features much more storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi A2, because it has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 128 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Sony Xperia 1 III features a much longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi A2, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3010mAh. The Xperia 1 III takes much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi A2, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and a same resolution back camera, the Xperia 1 III also has better video frame rate, a lot larger sensor taking lot higher quality photos and videos and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photos and video.
