Comparison review
Xperia 1 III has an overall score of 93.3, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha's 88.9 global score. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the Xperia 1 III has 11 version and Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has Android 10, providing a couple additional features. Xperia 1 III is a newer phone, and it is also thinner and extremely lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a little better performance than Sony Xperia 1 III. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Sony Xperia 1 III features a better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and a much better amount of pixels per inch of display.
The Xperia 1 III features just a bit bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has just 256 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits up to 1 TB. The Sony Xperia 1 III has a little longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because it has an 11 percent bigger battery size.
The Sony Xperia 1 III features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, although it has a lot smaller back-facing camera sensor, a back camera with a much worse 12 MP resolution and a lower video quality, they both have a F1.7 diafragm aperture.
