Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III is a lot better than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, having a 93.3 score against 76. Xperia 1 III's design is much newer, but a little bit thicker and heavier than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. These phones include Android OS, but the Xperia 1 III has the previous 11 version while Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Sony Xperia 1 III features a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a much greater number of pixels per inch of display, a little bigger display and a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution. Xperia 1 III features just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a larger number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.
Xperia 1 III takes much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a way less mega-pixels camera in the back and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better photos and videos in low-light environments and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and pictures.
Sony Xperia 1 III has a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has 256 GB internal storage and an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB. Xperia 1 III has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 4070mAh.
The Xperia 1 III costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but you can get a much better phone for that few more dollars.
