Sony Xperia 1 III has a global score of 93.3, which is much better than Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro's score of 83.4. Even though the Sony Xperia 1 III and Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro were only released 3 months apart, the Sony Xperia 1 III is lighter and thinner. Both of these phones come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that.
The Xperia 1 III has a brighter display than Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a lot higher display pixels density. The Xperia 1 III features a much greater storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB, the Xperia 1 III also has more internal storage.
The Xperia 1 III features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia 1 III also has a larger amount of RAM.
