The Xperia 1 III has an overall score of 93.3, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer's 91.5 global score. These devices have Android operating system, but the Xperia 1 III has older 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has Android 12 version. Even though the Xperia 1 III is older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, it's body is just a bit thinner and just a little bit lighter.
Xperia 1 III features a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 and way more pixels per display inch.
