Xperia 1 III is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, having a score of 93.3 against 80.3. The Xperia 1 III design has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, but it is just a little heavier. The Sony Xperia 1 III has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Xperia 1 III counts with a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels, a little bit bigger screen and a lot more pixels per screen inch. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a slightly better camera than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor offering a lower image quality and a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for shooting photos and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same 120 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also counts with a back facing camera with lot more MP.
Xperia 1 III counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory. Xperia 1 III has just a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
