Comparison review
Xperia 1 III has a score of 93.3, which is much better than the ZTE Axon 20's score of 77.8. These phones use Android OS, but the Xperia 1 III has the newer 11 version while ZTE Axon 20 has Android 10 version, offering a couple additional features. Even though Xperia 1 III and ZTE Axon 20 were released only 6 months apart, the Xperia 1 III construction is a little thicker but just a little lighter than ZTE Axon 20.
Sony Xperia 1 III features a brighter display than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels and a way better pixels density. Sony Xperia 1 III has a bit better processing power than ZTE Axon 20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
ZTE Axon 20 shoots better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low-light images and video and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and a same size back camera sensor, the ZTE Axon 20 also counts with a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
Xperia 1 III counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than ZTE Axon 20, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory. Sony Xperia 1 III features a bit superior battery life than ZTE Axon 20, because it has a 7% larger battery capacity.
The Xperia 1 III is way more expensive than the ZTE Axon 20, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
