Comparison review

The Asus ZenFone 8 is just a bit better than the Xperia 1 V, with an 83 score against 82.7. Asus ZenFone 8's construction is a little lighter than Xperia 1 V, but it is just a bit thicker and was released 2 years before. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Asus ZenFone 8 has older 11 version and Xperia 1 V has Android 13.

Asus ZenFone 8 has an extremely better processing unit than Xperia 1 V, although it has 6 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a bit better display than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it has a lot worse 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, much lesser pixels per inch of display and a little bit smaller screen.

Asus ZenFone 8 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Xperia 1 V, because although it has a much smaller camera sensor capturing much worse quality videos and pictures, it also counts with a larger aperture for better low light photography and videos, a lot more megapixels back-facing camera and a lot better video definition.

The Xperia 1 V counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has more internal storage capacity. The Sony Xperia 1 V has longer battery life than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
