Xperia 1 V has a general score of 82.7, which is a little bit better than the HTC U Ultra's 77 overall score. The Xperia 1 V design is newer than the HTC U Ultra's, although it's a little heavier and a little thicker. The Xperia 1 V has a slightly better looking screen than HTC U Ultra, because it has a higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution, a bit larger display and a little bit higher pixel density.
The HTC U Ultra has a lot better performance than Xperia 1 V, although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM. Xperia 1 V captures much better photos and videos than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking images and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia 1 V also counts with a much larger sensor shooting lot higher quality videos and photographs, a back facing camera with a much better 48 mega-pixels resolution and better 120 fps video frame rate.
The HTC U Ultra features more memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia 1 V, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. Sony Xperia 1 V features a superior battery duration than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
