The LG G8 ThinQ has a general score of 84.3, which is slightly better than the Xperia 1 V's 82.7 general score. The LG G8 ThinQ is a somewhat lighter phone than Xperia 1 V, but they are equally thin. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but the LG G8 ThinQ has newer 9.0 Pie version and Xperia 1 V has Android 13 version, providing the user a couple additional features.

LG G8 ThinQ counts with a very superior CPU than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit better screen than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it has a bit lower pixel amount in each inch of display, a bit smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels.

The Xperia 1 V features a much better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a lot tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xperia 1 V also counts with better 120 frames per second video frame rate, a way bigger camera sensor and a much better 48 mega-pixels resolution back camera.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a much greater memory for games and applications than Sony Xperia 1 V, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Xperia 1 V has a much longer battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
