Motorola Edge 50 Pro is a bit better than the Xperia 1 V, having a general score of 86.3 against 82.7. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a more recent 14 version and Xperia 1 V has Android 13. Motorola Edge 50 Pro is a newer phone, and it's also a little thinner and just a little lighter than Xperia 1 V.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a processor that's just as good as the processing unit in Sony Xperia 1 V, they have 12 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a little more vivid display than Sony Xperia 1 V, because although it has a much lower 1080 x 2400 resolution and a lot lesser pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a quite larger display.
Sony Xperia 1 V takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because although it has a much tinier aperture which is not recommended for shooting pictures and/or video in low light situations, a camera in the back with less mega pixels and a lower (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger sensor which provides a better photo and video quality.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a way bigger storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia 1 V, because it has more internal memory capacity. Xperia 1 V has just a bit better battery duration than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
