Xperia 1 V is just a bit better than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, getting an 82.7 score against 76.3. Xperia 1 V's design is much newer, but somewhat heavier and thicker than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play. The Xperia 1 V has a little sharper screen than Moto Z3 Play, because it has a lot higher 1644 x 3840 resolution, a bit larger display and a lot more pixels per inch of display.
The Moto Z3 Play features a much greater performance than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. Xperia 1 V has a greater camera than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia 1 V also counts with a much bigger sensor providing a way better image quality, faster 120 fps video frame rate and a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.
The Moto Z3 Play has a greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia 1 V, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Sony Xperia 1 V has a really longer battery performance than Moto Z3 Play, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
