Xperia 1 V has an overall score of 82.7, which is a little bit better than Galaxy A5 (2017)'s 75.8 global score. Xperia 1 V's construction is way newer than Galaxy A5 (2017)'s, although it's just a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier. The Xperia 1 V counts with a little more vivid screen than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px, a lot greater pixels density and a larger screen.
The Sony Xperia 1 V features a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has a much faster CPU than Xperia 1 V, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
