Galaxy Fold is much better than the Sony Xperia 1 V, getting a general score of 97.6 against 82.7. The Galaxy Fold body is somewhat thinner than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it is incredibly heavier and was released many years before. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Fold has newer 9.0 Pie version and Sony Xperia 1 V has Android 13.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a very superior processor than Xperia 1 V. They have the same number of cores and 12 GB of RAM. The Sony Xperia 1 V counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a lot more pixels per display inch.
The Xperia 1 V takes much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a much smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light photos and video, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia 1 V also counts with better 120 fps video frame rate, a way bigger back camera sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality and a camera in the back with a lot better 48 mega-pixels resolution.
The Galaxy Fold features a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia 1 V, because it has more internal memory capacity. Xperia 1 V counts with a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Fold, because it has a 14% larger battery size.
