Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 V has an overall score of 82.7, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4's general score of 81.6. Both phones we are comparing here have Android OS, but Sony Xperia 1 V has newer 13 version while Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has Android 5.0 version, counting with a couple nice extra features and performance improvements. The Sony Xperia 1 V body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but it's a little heavier.
Galaxy Note 4 counts with a much greater processing power than Xperia 1 V, because although it has 9 GB lesser RAM memory and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processor. Galaxy Note 4 features a sharper display than Xperia 1 V, although it has a way worse 2560 x 1440 resolution, a little inferior pixels quantity in each inch in the screen and a little bit smaller display.
Sony Xperia 1 V takes greater pictures and videos than Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have the same video definition, the Sony Xperia 1 V also has a much larger sensor providing a way better image quality, a back-facing camera with a way higher 48 MP resolution, a larger aperture to take better photos in low-light environments and higher 120 frames per second video frame rates.
Sony Xperia 1 V has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory capacity. Sony Xperia 1 V features a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
