Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 V has an overall score of 82.7, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Note 5's 79.3 overall score. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia 1 V has the newer 13 version while Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1 version, providing a couple nice extra features. Sony Xperia 1 V is a way newer phone than the Galaxy Note 5, although it's a little thicker and a little heavier.
Galaxy Note 5 has a much more powerful processing unit than Xperia 1 V, although it has a lower number of cores and 8 GB lesser RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a bit better screen than Xperia 1 V, although it has a lot worse resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a quite smaller display and a just a bit lower screen density.
Sony Xperia 1 V counts with a way better camera than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a F1.9 camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia 1 V also has a much larger camera sensor capturing lot better quality photographs, better video frame rates and a back camera with a way higher resolution.
Sony Xperia 1 V features a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note 5, because it has more internal memory. The Xperia 1 V counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 67% larger battery size.
