Galaxy S6 has a global score of 87.4, which is just a bit better than the Xperia 1 V's overall score of 82.7. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S6 has older 5.0 version while Xperia 1 V has Android 13. Galaxy S6's body is a lot lighter and somewhat thinner than the Xperia 1 V, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.
Galaxy S6 has a brighter display than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it has a just a bit worse count of pixels per inch in the display, a much smaller screen and a way worse 2560 x 1440 resolution. Xperia 1 V counts with a much bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy S6, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy S6 counts with a much better performing processing unit than Xperia 1 V, because although it has 9 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy S6 also counts with an additional GPU and a 64-bits processing unit. Xperia 1 V shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xperia 1 V also has a lot higher 48 mega pixels resolution camera, a much bigger sensor providing a much better image quality and better video frame rate.
The Xperia 1 V features a superior battery performance than Galaxy S6, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
