Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 has a score of 83.2, which is a bit better than the Xperia 1 V's 82.7 overall score. Xiaomi Mi 9 is an noticeably older device than the Xperia 1 V, but Xiaomi managed to build it just a little bit thinner and a little bit lighter anyway. The Xiaomi Mi 9 and Xperia 1 V have really similar screens, although the Xiaomi Mi 9 has a way lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, a much lower quantity of pixels per display inch and a quite smaller screen.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a very superior CPU than Xperia 1 V, although it has less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Sony Xperia 1 V takes a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting pictures and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video resolution and a camera in the back with a 48 MP, the Sony Xperia 1 V also counts with better 120 frames per second video frame rates and a way larger back camera sensor which provides a way better image and video quality.
Xperia 1 V has much more storage to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 256 GB internal storage. Xperia 1 V counts with a superior battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
