Both devices in this review use Android OS, but the Xperia 1 VI has a more recent 14 version while Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate has Android 13 version. The Xperia 1 VI is a way thinner and noticeably lighter phone than the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate.
Xperia 1 VI counts with a bit better looking display than Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px, a higher number of pixels per inch of screen and a quite bigger display. Xperia 1 VI counts with slightly more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, because although it has just 256 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows up to 1 TB.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate features a little faster processing unit than Sony Xperia 1 VI, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate also has a larger amount of RAM.
