Xperia 1 VI has an overall score of 83.2, which is a bit better than Google Pixel 4 XL's 82.9 score. The Xperia 1 VI is a notably lighter and much thinner phone than Google Pixel 4 XL. Google Pixel 4 XL features a little bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia 1 VI, although it has a bit smaller display, a bit lower screen density and a quite lower resolution of 1440 x 3040.
Xperia 1 VI counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1 TB and more internal storage. Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a much powerful CPU than Xperia 1 VI, although it has 6 GB less RAM, they both have 8 cores.
Xperia 1 VI features improved battery duration than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has a 5000mAh battery size. The Xperia 1 VI takes a lot better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video quality, the Xperia 1 VI also counts with a back facing camera with way more mega-pixels, higher video frame rates and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor taking lot better quality videos and photographs.
