Comparison review
The Xperia 1 VI has a score of 83.2, which is a bit better than Huawei Mate 10's 78.9 general score. Both phones we are comparing here have Android operating system, but Xperia 1 VI has a more recent 14 version and Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10 version. Xperia 1 VI's body is way thinner and much lighter than Huawei Mate 10.
The Huawei Mate 10 has a much better performing processor than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a little sharper display than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a little smaller display, a bit inferior pixels quantity per inch in the display and a lot lower resolution of 1440 x 2560.
The Sony Xperia 1 VI has a much better storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 10, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB. The Sony Xperia 1 VI shoots much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for shooting photographs and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same video quality, the Sony Xperia 1 VI also counts with faster 120 fps video frame rate, a back camera with lot more mega pixels and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing way higher quality videos and photos.
Xperia 1 VI features better battery duration than Huawei Mate 10, because it has a 25% greater battery capacity.
