The Huawei Mate X2 is just a bit better than Sony Xperia 1 VI, getting a score of 89.1 against 83.2. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate X2 has the older 10 version and Sony Xperia 1 VI has Android 14. Huawei Mate X2 features a much better hardware performance than Sony Xperia 1 VI, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores.
The Sony Xperia 1 VI features a bit sharper screen than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better screen density and a slightly better 1644 x 3840px resolution. The Xperia 1 VI has a much bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei Mate X2, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xperia 1 VI also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB.
Xperia 1 VI shoots much clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate X2, although it has a worse (4K) video resolution and a less MP resolution camera in the back, they both have a F1.9 diafragm aperture. Sony Xperia 1 VI features a little longer battery performance than Huawei Mate X2, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
