Comparison review

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has an overall score of 87.1, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia 1 VI's 83.2 general score. Both phones we compare here include the same Android 14 OS (Operating System). Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has a brighter screen than Xperia 1 VI, although it has a way worse 1080 x 2400 resolution, a much lower display density and a bit smaller display.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra features a CPU that's just as good as the Xperia 1 VI one, they have 12 GB of RAM and 8 cpu cores. Sony Xperia 1 VI captures slightly better photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, although it has a lower 48 MP resolution back facing camera, a smaller back camera sensor capturing lower quality photos, a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures or video in poorly lited situations and a worse 3840x2160 video quality.

The Xperia 1 VI counts with just a bit bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, because although it has just 256 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows up to 1 TB. Sony Xperia 1 VI has just a little better battery performance than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
