Comparison review
The Xperia 1 VI has a score of 83.2, which is a bit better than the Moto G 5G's 81.5 overall score. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Xperia 1 VI has newer 14 version and Moto G 5G has Android 10 version. The Xperia 1 VI is a way lighter and incredibly thinner cellphone than Moto G 5G.
The Xperia 1 VI has a little bit better looking display than Motorola Moto G 5G, because it has a way greater pixels density, a little bit bigger display and a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840. Sony Xperia 1 VI features a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Moto G 5G, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and more internal memory.
Moto G 5G features a much faster processing unit than Sony Xperia 1 VI, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xperia 1 VI captures much better photos and videos than Moto G 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for capturing pictures and video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same resolution camera in the back, the Xperia 1 VI also counts with better 120 fps video frame rates.
Motorola Moto G 5G's battery duration is very similar to Sony Xperia 1 VI's battery lifetime.
