Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Xperia 1 VI has the newer 14 version and Moto G9 Plus has Android 10 version, providing you some additional features and performance tweaks. Xperia 1 VI's construction is incredibly thinner and way lighter than the Moto G9 Plus.

The Xperia 1 VI has a slightly better looking screen than Moto G9 Plus, because it has a bit larger screen, a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels and a much greater quantity of pixels per display inch.
